Description
A painting of the Kaaba in Mecca. The black cloth, the kiswa, is made with paste to give it more texture. Arabic calligraphy is painted in gold on the kiswa. Sand paste has also been used on the walls, giving them a more realistic appearance.

To best maintain the appearance and quality of your hand-painted acrylic painting, it is important to handle it with care.
Varnished paintings
A varnished painting has a protective layer that makes the surface more resistant to dust and light dirt. The painting can be gently wiped with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Still, avoid rubbing hard or using cleaning agents, as the varnish may be damaged.
Non-varnished paintings
A non-varnished painting has a more sensitive surface. Therefore, only use a soft and dry cloth or a very soft duster to gently remove dust. Avoid water, moisture, cleaning agents, and hard pressure directly on the painting.
General
For both varnished and non-varnished paintings, it is recommended to avoid direct sunlight, high humidity, and large temperature changes. Also avoid placing objects directly against the painting's surface.
About varnishing
Some of my paintings are varnished, while others are delivered without varnish. You have the option to have your painting varnished for a small extra fee. The price depends on the size of the painting and is typically between DKK 10–30. The varnishing is an additional treatment that requires special materials, and it is therefore added separately to the price.
With the right care, your hand-painted work of art can be preserved beautifully for many years.
